Hello my name is Abbie, I am 32 and live in Cowes, Isle of Wight. I am caring, creative, patient and empathetic person, who absolutely loves working with children. I have been baby sitting for approx. 10 years. I currently babysit part-time as extra income. I am a professional woman, with a degree from Coventry University Business School. I currently work for the University of Southampton as a Senior Cultivation Event Manager but mostly work from home, which is how I am able to work so flexibly.
I have my full driving license for school drops offs and picks up. Willing to travel anywhere on the island. I am also first aid trained by St Johns Ambulance for adults and children.
I have a little Cavapoo named Alfie, he's just turned one. If your children like animals I am more than happy to introduce them and let them play/walk Alfie. He is exceptionally good with Children.
My Experience
If you have a child who is into anything creative, I am your person. I live in a household full of musicians and artists so it is very natural for me to use this as my tool for interacting with children. I can offer my services with an additional flare of art & crafts, dance, drama, music, movie night's....you name it.

After-school activities - I am happy to manage and supervise children's activities.
Medical Appointments - I am happy to take children to appointments.
Outings - I am happy to take children to local parks, farms, art classes and museums.
I have full capability to help with homework - I have 12 GCSE's, 3 A-levels and a degree.
Event support - As I work in events, I understand more than most that if you are attending a wedding, a family occasion or you are getting married yourself but want your little one there, you may want someone to keep an eye, entertain them so you don't have to. If this is something you wish to discuss, please get in touch. I can offer this as a 1-1 or as a group max.5 children.

I currently babysit part-time as extra income. I have put on the chart below when I am willing to take on shifts, however, I do work at a University so we do get ALOT of annual leave during the summer, so this will change.
