My Summary

My Experience

I have worked with children for a number of years, having gained experience with babies and children from ages 0-18.
I am currently a primary school teacher working in a private school in Bangor with a mixed aged class of 4-7 year olds.
I have offered babysitting to families that holiday on Anglesey, for a number of years, mainly helping them during school holidays and half terms. These children have been between the ages of 4 months and 10 years. This type of babysitting can involve preparing food, bathing and putting children to bed (evenings) and the day times usually include a few hours at the children’s home, then a trip to the park/beach or lunch out etc. I also do days out locally and have been to places like Pili Palas, the Sea Zoo, pottery painting etc.
I am also a private tutor and offer this to children in both primary and secondary school for specific subjects.
I have had experience at a local Brownies Unit, working with girls aged 7-10.
I look after a maximum of seven children at any one time. My sister also babysits and so occasionally we will work together if there is a bigger group/a mixture of babies and children.

My Qualifications

I have a Bachelors degree in Primary Education (with QTS).
I am First Aid trained.
I have a DBS check.

I have completed a number of additional professional courses. Some of the more relevant include:
- Introduction to Child Counselling
- Introduction to Childcare
- Mindfulness
- Child Protection and Safeguarding (multiple)

My Availability

I work full time as a primary school teacher so my babysitting/nanny services are offered mostly during weekends and the school holidays.
During the holidays, my availability is mostly all times, therefore from mornings through to night, including overnight stays.
I can babysit during school evenings if arranged in advance.
I live on Anglesey and most of my work tends to be on the island, however, I do drive so I can travel further if required (transport costs would be included in the price).

My Fees

• Babysitting from £14.00 per hour

I charge £12 an hour in the evenings/night times if/once the children are asleep.
I charge £14 an hour during the day times.
I would charge a flat rate of £75 for an overnight stay.
