My Summary

My Experience

Through university I have been able to work with a wide range of children. From 0-16. I have also had the opportunity to work with children with complex needs through my nursing placements. Through placement as a student nurse I have also had the opportunity of working in autism assessments, neonatal care and working with children living with life limiting conditions.

Before starting university, I completed my extended diploma in children and young peoples development. Here I had a placement in a nursery for one year, were I became familiar with Montessori education. I also had a placement within a primary school for one year and cared for a young boy (1-1) with autism.

I worked as a team lead in a tweenie (1-2 year old) room, after working for 6 months as a nursery assistant.

I come from a relatively large family so have had plenty of experience babysitting my younger cousins and family friends.

Currently completing my degree in children nursing.
Basic life support (adult and paediatric)
Anaphylaxis trained
Child protection trained
ACEs trained
Level 3 extended diploma in children and young peoples development
A level health and social care and media studies
GCSE - math, English, science, English literature, religion, art, drama, media studies
Level 2 ICT A-C

My Availability

I’m free late evenings.

I currently have a part time retail job outside of uni- but usually finish work before 7 on weekends. I also have a range of afternoon / morning and after schools available but this depends on my university timetable which unfortunately changes weekly!
