About Me
I am a very nurturing and calm person with a love for childcare. I love the outdoors and a big fan of walking. I absolutely adore animals having grown up with them and have an array of pets. I am extremely passionate about my role within childcare and I want to ensure your little ones get the best from their childhood and thrive. I am confident within my knowledge and experience that I have and will always pride myself within my skills of providing the highest level of care.
My Experience
I have over 8 years of experience within childcare, having experience within schools, nurseries, pre-schools and babysitting. I began my career in 2015 - straight from school when I went into a voluntary position within a school and worked my way to becoming a teaching assistant. I then went on to complete an apprenticeship within Early Years and worked my way from apprentice to a deputy manager. I also have experience of doing private babysitting alongside this. I have worked with children from baby rooms, toddlers, pre-schoolers up to Key stage 2.
My Qualifications
I hold a TQUK Level 3 Diploma for the Children's Workforce (Early Years Educator), I am fully trained in Paediatric First Aid, as well as Safeguarding (I currently hold a Safeguarding Lead Practitioner certificate). I am trained in Prevent, FGM, Norfolk Graded Care Profiles as well as Food Hygiene. I am currently completing CPD's in Children's Mental Health, Children's Psychology and Special Educational Needs and Disability.
