About Me
Working dad who has a very lively 7 year old boy at home. Occasionally looking for help due to work for bedtimes for my son.
Due to my workload we are looking for someone to be available mainly after school but also on match days when I work.
Ideally I require someone from up to 25 hours per week to help with my son.
Ideally someone that is free to start asap.
My Requirements
My son has autism and is non verbal. He is a lovely little boy but is very energetic and full of life.
He is extremely loving but doesn't know his own strength sometimes.
He struggles to communicate his needs and can have a temper due to frustration.
He is in nappies due to his condition so we are looking for someone with alot of patience and able to cope with a child that has little understanding of instructions.
We are looking for someone to be his P.a for up to 25 hours per week(more hours are available) mostly this is a Monday to Friday role for after school care.
There is a requirement for some evenings and weekend work (one of the weekend days) dependant on my job, however this is only a couple of times most months.
Ideally someone with a DBS check in place, driving not essential as my son gets transport to and from school.
Again it takes someone with patience and who is willing to take time with my son and be able to stay calm with a child who struggles to communicate.
