About Me
Hello, my name is Georgie, and I am an Ofsted Registered Childminder dedicated to providing quality childcare in a nurturing, home-from-home setting. My primary focus is on ensuring the safety, wellbeing, and happiness of all the children in my care.
I am located in a quiet cul-de-sac in Kingsteignton, close to the A380, my home offers warm, calm and secure environment for your children. Our house is a clean and relaxed environment with lots of opportunity for creative and open – ended play.
Our spacious lounge is designed for both relaxation and play, featuring a wide variety of resources that children can safely access. The bright and airy dining area serves as a perfect space for meals, cooking activities, and arts and crafts. This area opens onto a secure garden with AstroTurf, providing ample space for running and playing.
Our outdoor area is equipped with a range of activities that promote physical skills, mark-making, messy/water play, and imaginative play.
We spend plenty of time outdoors as we are fortunate to have numerous play parks and outdoor spaces within walking distance. Additionally, we take regular trips to explore the beautiful countryside and visit local attractions such as:

Rare Breeds Farm

Paignton Zoo
Canonteign Falls
Teignmouth Beach and The Den
Various other play spaces in the Teignbridge area
When we are not out and about, the children can enjoy a wide range of resources at home, including books, natural materials, and toys that support their early learning and development.
I have all the relevant training and qualifications, DBS check and Peadiatric First Aid and I am an advocate for gentle parenting.
My Experience
I hold a GCSE qualification in Child Development and am the mother of two wonderful children, aged 11 and 6. Growing up in a large family, I have always been actively involved with children, both within my family and among friends. This extensive experience has given me a deep understanding and passion for child care.
In addition to my personal experience, I have spent significant time with other childminders, participating in a variety of activities that enhance children's learning and development. I have also assisted with numerous preschool and school trips, further broadening my experience and skills in child supervision and education.

I also participate in specialized training tailored to the needs of individual children, ensuring I stay current with the latest research and developments in the field. As a member of Childminding UK and a subscriber to the updates service with Devon County Council, I ensure my training remains up-to-date and of the highest standard.
My Availability
My normal working hours are 8.00am-5pm.
Monday - Thursday- Term Time Only
However I aim to be flexible so please contact me if you require care outside of these times.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.50 per hour
My basic hourly rate is £5.50
Premium rates apply to early starts or late finishes, please contact me for more details.
My fees include: cost of all activities, trips, entrance fees healthy snacks and drinks, breakfast if applicable.
Parents need to provide: a healthy packed lunch all food and milk for babies not yet weaned nappies, personal care items such as nappy cream, suncream, etc.
I offer funded childcare places subject to spaces available.
