About Me
I live in Clapham, Bedford with my husband, 3 year old son and two dogs. I work part time and my husband works shifts.
I was recently diagnosed with ME/CFS and also have Autism and ADHD. These have left me with limited capabilities for entertaining my son, which leaves me feeling very guilty. This is why the right childcare for him, which is engaging, active, educational, and fun, is very important to me.
My Requirements
CHILDMINDER OR NURSERY REQUIRED IN PUTNOE, BRICKHILL, CLAPHAM, OR OAKLEY

We are looking for a placement for our 3 year old son to cover the following days:
Mondays: 8:30-3:30 or 8am-3pm
Tuesdays: 8am-6pm
Wednesdays:8am-6pm
Thursdays:8am-6pm
We can do earlier finishing times, if required, and may then look into putting some hours in on Fridays.
There may also be the very rare odd day or few hours when I have to work overtime, attend appointments, or do training. I am not required to work before 9am, after 5pm, or on weekends. I work off Kimbolton Road, hence the need for somewhere either in Putnoe or Brickhill, or near our home in Clapham.
We get the government 30 hours subsidisation at present, and wish to find someone who accepts this.
My son is very active and sociable. He loves transport, and doing art or anything using his hands. If he had a choice, he would spend all day outdoors running around, riding bikes, or playing in water.
He was previously in a nursery, which we took him out of due to rising costs, and the workers said that he always brightened their day with his love of entertaining and making people laugh. He can also be very kind and insightful.
As with every toddler, he has his moments, and he does test boundaries. He currently has a tendency to scream and shout to try and get his own way, so he needs someone who is used to dealing with this sort of behaviour. We ourselves are very active in trying to get on top of this.
We very strongly believe in working together with childcare providers to ensure consistency for our son in all areas of his life. We always inform providers of what things we are implementing at home, any issues we are having, and are open any advice given. We also enjoy sharing the funny moments and achievements, which are frequent!
