I’m Katie, a student children’s nurse.Im 22, I love the beach.I have enhanced DBS check as work with children as part of my course.
I have Montessori toys available for children to use,during both nannying and babysitting services.
Living part time on the island, I enjoy getting the children involved in outside and nature or animal/farm based activities, not forgetting with crafting!

I have nannied for multiple families, with all different ages of children ranging from Newborn to teens. I additionally provide wedding nannying,hotel and last minute nannying, aswell as longer-term families.
I have 3+ years experience from working in the local children’s emergency department.

I was nervous about leaving my one-year-old with someone I didn’t know for the first time and in a place unfamiliar to us, but Katie was absolutely amazing. She instantly put me at ease and I felt completely safe leaving my son with her. She even brought Montessori toys along and kept him happily engaged with lots of activities. Katie was flexible and kindly stayed later when I asked, which was such a help. I would definitely recommend her to other parents and will be hoping she’s available again when we next visit the Isle of Wight.

Katie looked after our 14 months old boy. She is very reliable and punctual, and interacted with our son in a loving and creative way. We felt very comfortable entrusting our child to her care.

We contacted Katie last minute for our trip to Isle of Wight and so glad we did. She responded immediately, she arrived on time, and even brought her own toys for the children! She was instantly at ease and fit in with our evening routine. She ended up caring for two toddlers for the evening, including bedtime and we felt she was in control so we could relax.

Professional from the start, Katie came through on short notice as well(within 24 hours of my posting the job), my daughter warmed to her within a few minutes and was very happy and content after almost 5 hours with Katie, who came thoroughly prepared with paper, paint, and even an apron for her to wear and have loads of fun. Katie listened to my ideas on what my daughter likes and brought her own supplies to make the experience moral fun for her. The area was a bit awkward and she offered to take her for a walk to get a different scene. The people I was working with kept commenting on how my daughter looked happy as Larry. We just moved to the island and I’m so glad we found Katie and looking forward to using her again soon. Highly recommend her. I was more than happy and content. (My daughter also has allergies and she was very diligent about it which left me at ease).

Katie has been absolutely amazing with both my girls. She is always reliable and will do everything she can to meet what childcare we are needing. The girls absolutely love spending time with Katie and are always so exited when she will be watching them. She has kept us updated when we are out and been very flexible if we are running a bit late. Would highly recommend Katie.
