Hi! My name's Grace, I'm 22 years old and live in Chelmsford, Essex. I have GCSEs, including maths and English, A-levels, and a degree in criminology which I completed last year. I also hold a full driving licence. I am a very active, kind-natured and energetic individual, and thrive in high-paced environments, where I learn quickly, which is so important when working with children!
My Experience
After leaving university I travelled through Thailand for a while and then worked as a nursery practitioner for children aged 0-4, for 9 months, which I absolutely loved. Throughout my time working at the nursery, I predominately took care of babies and toddlers up to 2 years old, often independently. However, looking after my younger family members and working at an after-school club, I also have experience caring for older children. I have knowledge and experience of child safeguarding and how to deal with emergencies effectively, including the care of children with serious allergies and disabilities. I understand the importance of ensuring children's emotional and developmental needs are met, routines are followed, and strive for their overall happiness. I am also very enthusiastic when aiding children with their educational and physical development, and would be very happy to help with homework, reading, sports activities, and so on. Further duties, such as cooking, housekeeping and school runs, I would also be willing to assist with as well.
