About Me
I am home from home settings, where children are encouraged to be curious, explore, blossom, grow and learn in a safe and loving environment.
I believe in child led learning through play and nature.
We fill our days and like to explore; be that in the woods, in the garden or having fun at the park. Also trips to national trust sites, forest school sessions, farms, museums, soft plays, role play centres and the local library - to include just a few of our weekly activities!
We explore different themes and topics with a mixture of in the moment planning and well thought out invitations to play to meet the developmental stages and interests of each child.
Myself and Laura co-mind together under Alfie’s Den Childminding Services and offer services between Hoyland and Bolton upon Dearne.
My Experience
I am a mother to a toddler and love being outdoors.
I am first aid trained and also have experience with learning disabilities.
I both have a good understanding of child development and how best to support each child individually.
I focus on meeting each child's individual needs through EYFS, learning through Play and lots of outdoor adventures!
I aim to support all children to achieve their very best and to grasp each day with curiosity, awe and wonder.
