My Summary

My Experience

As well as being a mother of three daughters, I’m an experienced early years teacher with 25 years experience with the under 5’s.

I have run a small business for many years working with families with under 5’s running weekly music, movement and play classes, and have trained other teachers to do this in their local area.

I have also completed a TEFL course and delivered English classes for children and young adults, both in person and online.

I have worked with children of all ages, young adults, and helped with homework, babysitting, house sitting, and general mother’s help including housework, ironing, shopping and light cooking.

I have also worked at Plymouth University as communications Officer liaising with new students, and gained valuable experience working with and supporting young adults starting their university learning journey.

I am happy to be flexible and work with a family and their needs.

My Qualifications

I have 10 O levels, 3 A levels and BA ( Hons) in Humanities specialising in English.

I have completed various courses including basic first aid, safeguarding, GDPR, and health and safety. In my role with early years, I have to satisfy certain safeguarding criteria.

I have completed a TEFL course and taught children and young adults English, both online and in person.

I have extensive experience with the early years including training early years teachers and have a wealth of music, songs, activities and resources I can share with families.

I have a clean driving license and my own car, and don't smoke or drink.

My Availability

I can currently be flexible and am interested in part time or full time, temporary or fixed term positions.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
