About Me
I am a young and conscientious individual working towards an Undergraduate degree in Arts and Humanities. I have previous experience as a babysitter for a few families and am looking to return to that line of work. I enjoy working with children because I find it to be one of the most rewarding jobs I have ever experienced . I am very nurturing which makes me so drawn to caring for children. I am creative and I love encouraging children to become more imaginative and open minded throughout various activities such as painting, creating stories and playing with toys. I enjoy seeing the positive impact I have on children's development and well being.
My Experience
During my time babysitting between 2016-2018, I ensured safety and provided care to children in the family’s home. I cooked meals and fed the children based on the parent’s instructions. I would also adhere to the children’s sleep schedules and take care of their hygiene needs. Some other duties included taking the children to swimming lessons, to the park and to other children play areas. The age range of children I looked after were between 6 months and 5 years old.
My Qualifications
I am currently working towards a degree in Arts and humanities. I have also achieved a Certificate of Higher Education in this subject.
