About Me
I am a enthusiastic and flexible trainee primary school teacher studying my degree in Oxford. I have worked in both mainstream and special needs schools. I have an exceptional understanding of special need and disabilities from both experience and focussed assignments at university. I hold a full UK driving licence. I have a kind approach with the children which supports building a positive and trusting environment.
I value the positive relationships that I am able to build with both children and parents. I follow open communication and work collaboratively with parents to ensure I follow home routines to my best ability. My overall goal is to provide parents with peace of mind knowing their child/children are with somebody who is responsible, capable and caring.
My Experience
Babysitting/nannying experience-
I am an experienced and dedicated babysitter with six years experience providing friendly and nurturing care to babies aged six months-16 year old’s. I am dedicated to creating a safe and fun environment that promotes every child’s wellbeing and development.
Throughout my six years of babysitting/nannying experience I have had the privilege of working with multiple different families and adapting my practice to support each individual child.
I am currently working part time as an early years educator in a nursery. I have been working with babies, toddlers and children in preschool. I am skilled in planning sensory play and creative arts for the children both indoors and outdoors. I inspire to develop a natural love for learning in children through promoting curiosity and exploration.
Tutoring-
I am a kind, dedicated and enthusiastic trainee primary school tutor with a passion for fostering a love of learning in primary aged children. I tailor my planning to the needs of the individual child and the requests from parents. I am competent in teaching across the whole National Curriculum and effectively adapting this to the age/ability of the child. Through tutoring with me I aim to make learning fun and accessible.
Further to supporting children with their learning I am also focussed on helping children develop positive learning attitudes through educational games, interactive activities and interesting lesson plans.
I communicate regularly with parents to feedback and ensure that they understand the child’s progress and make any necessary adjustments to my planning.
My Qualifications
I am in my final year studying BA Primary Teacher Education with Qualified Teacher Status.
I hold a full DBS check, paediatric first aid training, a full UK driving licence and safeguarding training. I am continuously updating my knowledge on protocols which keep children safe both in education and in the home environment.
