About Me
Hi all, I'm Suzanne and live in Southport (PR8). I'm a first-time mum and gave birth to our beautiful baby girl in November 2023. I'm back to work full-time (Mon-Fri) after my maternity leave and we are hoping to find a childminder for our 12-month-old daughter, as my partner works nights and I work days. We are looking for an experienced nanny / childminder who lives locally to us (Southport area). We live near Southport Hospital and have one cat, no dogs or other pets. We don't have many family members or friends living close by so we haven't had any support in looking after her and she is very attached my me and my partner. We'd like to meet a patient and experienced sitter/nanny she can bond with and who can provide the best care possible for her. She is an incredibly sweet, happy and intelligent baby, she enjoys long walks in her pram, playtime, music and baby books. I worry she isn't socialised enough, and she still wakes frequently in the night (5-6 times) and at naptime, so patience and empathy are key!
My Requirements
We need someone to be with our 12 month old daughter during the mornings on certain weekdays, occasional nights and occasional evenings. My partner returns from 14-hour night shifts around 8:30am on weekdays and I leave for work shortly after at 8:45am. Someone would ideally look after our baby girl while my partner catches up on sleep. She eats solid and mashed up foods and has Aptamil stage 3 toddler milk during the night. She has never slept through the night since she was born and wakes frequently throughout the night (and sometiems very early in the morning), even though we have exhaustively tried everything to help her sleep. Occasional evening babysitting would also be nice, but not our top priority.
