My Requirements

We are looking for an experienced nanny, student or someone keen to build experience with childcare in their first role. You would look after our relaxed and well behaved children. Work fairly light intensity. If you had childcare qualifications that is a bonus, but we would need DBS check and up-to-date with first aid. Excellent references and a full clean driving licence required. Duties to include sole charge of children, supervising home work, and preparing healthy meals for the kids. Salary commensurate with experience (please state in your application). Our current nanny has worked with us for 11 years but due to change in hours is seeking alternative role.

Hours wise we are looking for term time: morning cover 3-4 days per week from 7-9am to assist with getting ready for school and then 3-4 afternoons 4-7pm approximately. During school holidays for approx 13 weeks in the year we would need around 30 hours per week childcare (we shall cover many weeks ourselves during the holiday). We estimate the hours average 17-18 per week on an annualised contract. We can also do variable hours payments if that is preferred. We are also happy to do ad-hoc arrangements, especially from Sept as my youngest child settles into a new school.
