About Me
Hi, my name is Hope and I'm a primary school teacher in South Wales. I'm currently an agency primary school teacher. I'm a fluent (first language) Welsh speaker, too! I have such a passion for Welsh language and encouraging Welsh in anyway that I can.
I have a passion for reading, and love to encourage this in my learners, too! I also love to bake and cook. I've recently rediscovered my love of sewing and I'm currently teaching myself to patchwork and quilt! You could say I'm a bit of a homebird at heart! I also love to take walks and I've started to enjoy hiking - I'm hoping to walk Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) this summer!
My Experience
I've worked in many schools across Cardiff, Newport, Torfaen and Caerphilly! I've worked with every age, from 3 - 11. I'm fluent in Welsh (1st language) and am happy to help with any Welsh language learning, too. I have the most experience in nursery/reception, year 2, year 3 and year 5.
My Qualifications
I hold 13 GCSEs, 3 A Levels, a 2.1 degree in English, a TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) Certificate and a PGCE (Welsh language course with QTS) Certificate.
My Availability
Currently, I have good availability! This can change occasionally when I accept work as an agency teacher. However, I will not cancel if something has already been booked in!

My fees would cover my preparation time, possibility of buying resources (where needed) , travel time and the tuition sessions themselves.
