About Me

My name is Orion, age 20. The children I tend to care for range anywhere between the early developmental ages of 2 years old right up to childhood years at the age of 10. I enjoy working with both children and animals, and have great joy in fostering a hands-on approach to learning.

I'm sharing a home with my mother, and I have a part-time job at a local nursery, where I've had the privilege to work with, look after, and learn from children in their formative years, usually 2-5 years old, and prior to this I had experience babysitting for older children during my time at school.

Beyond my experiences with children, I also have a keen interest in animal care. Living with two cats and a dog, I'm comfortable and accustomed to having animals in the household and I usually am the one who takes care of them.

On the days when I'm not at the nursery for work, I take up the responsibility of maintaining our household. From regular cleaning to managing other essential tasks, I ensure that our living environment remains clean, safe and pleasing to live in.

I believe that practical, real-world experiences can be a valuable supplement to traditional learning methods, which I often incorporate into my interactions with children. I'm looking forward to bringing these experiences, teachings, and care to your child or children, making your everyday life easier while ensuring they are appropriately taken care of and learn in a fun and engaging way.
