About Me
I am an archaeologist and social anthropologist from Norway with many cool and exciting interests and I have years of experience with working as an assistant teacher. The past year I have also worked with children with ADHD, autism and severe social anxiety. I am in London now for a research project in relation to my second master in social anthropology and will be in London until the end of August. Working with children as a part-time job always gives me lots of fresh energy and makes the days more fun!
My Experience
I have worked as an assistant teacher next to my studies for years now and have experience with classes of 20-40 kids as well as one-one tutoring. As mentioned above I am well-versed in working with children with different needs. I have also worked in a care home as an assistant nurse for a year between my bachelor and master in maritime archaeology. I am therefore very familiar with changing nappies, as well as looking after severely ill people.
My Qualifications
- University of Bristol - Bachelor in Archaeology and Social Anthropology
- University of Southern Denmark - Master in Maritime Archaeology
- University of Oslo - Master in Social Anthropology
Certified commercial diver and I have had numerous First-Aid courses in relation to this training.
Worked as an assistant teacher and trained to look after classes as well as tutor 1-1.
