Welcome to Playtime pre-school
And thank you for visiting us! We know how important your child is and we aim to
Deliver the highest quality of care and education to help him/her to achieve his/her full potential. Our routine and approach is to support your child learning, development and we aim to work with you to best meet your child individual needs. We offer children and their parents a service that promotes equality and values diversity. We also work in partnership with outside professionals in order to provide further support to children. Alongside the National EYFS provision we offer extra curricular activities such as cooking and drama. PlayTime Pre-school is open 39weeks/year (terms time only)

Our Fees
- Childcare from £38.50 per day
Open From 9 am to 3pm.
Children 2 to 3 years old - £49.5
Children 3 to 5 years old - £38.5 (for extra days)
We are in receipt of 2-3 and 4 years old funding.

We couldn’t be happier with our experience!!! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and kindness by the staff, who clearly love what they do. The environment is bright and incredibly welcoming with decorations and plenty of engaging activities for the little ones.
The teachers are not only professional and knowledgeable, but they also show genuine care and affection for each child. They go above and beyond to create a nurturing atmosphere where children feel safe, happy, and valued. It’s clear that the nursery places a strong emphasis on creating a positive, friendly environment, which has made a huge difference in our child’s development.
Communication with parents is excellent. We receive regular updates on our child’s progress, and the staff is always available to discuss any concerns or questions we might have. The activities are well-planned and educational, with a perfect balance of play and learning. I also love the variety of different languages! Mariam has developed new skills and made wonderful friends, all while having so much fun.
Play-time nursery is a fantastic place for children to grow and thrive. I highly recommend it to any parent looking for a caring, safe, and stimulating environment for their little ones. It’s truly an amazing nursery with a family atmosphere that we’re grateful to be a part of…

Nanou and her staff are exceptional, their commitment and love for looking after the children are truly noticeable. They are all kind, friendly, and professional. Nanou always finds time if there are any questions or concerns. It is reassuring that every child has a key teacher who gets to know the child a bit better than the others, which I believe, helped my son to settle in and open up (as he is quite reserved).
My son's vocabulary and social skills have improved a lot since he started attending the nursery. They do lots of activities, including cooking, arts, and other fine motor skills activities. There are plenty of toys to play with indoors. Later in the day, they also have a storytime. The children can borrow books from the nursery as well to encourage them to develop a habit of reading (and looking after the books). There is a small outdoor area at the back of the building with plenty of outdoor toys (a slide, a small trampoline, bicycles, toy cars etc.).
I trust them completely and I know that he is always well looked after. I cannot recommend Nanou and her team enough!

It took me a while to find a nursery with slow accommodation as my main focus was for my little one to love the nursery from the beginning and not ever leaving him crying in there. Nanou, the manager was very understanding with my concerns and she and the rest of the stuff, especially Dasha was were very patient with me and Tudor. He came a very long way since October when he started. From a toddler which will not seat a second to even eat and run around continuously, now he is starting to respect rules and become understanding overall.
Also, my plan functioned very well, Tudor never cries when I leave, on the contrary, he is the most happy when the doors open.. the atmosphere is always as like there is a big family who is there to help, listen and adapt to whatever needs or concerns there are.
Looking forward for September for the pre school year

My son was this nursery two years, He was so lucky to be hear. We met a great team. During Playtime pre school my son has everything to develop and entertainment, he loves attending this nursery. He always still asked to his teacher and When he can back to this nursery again. I really appreciate to all of this team.

The care and development of my children is brilliant"I always feel 100% confident they will be well looked after. I checked so many nurseries before finding playtime nursery and I could say is the best nursery around Barnet.
Excellent support for both children and parents. All staff have a very caring nature and are approachable. Thank you so much for making both my child and I are so happy and comfortable with playtime nursery. The manager has a lovely manner and whenever I approach her I always feel reassured.Amazing nursery would highly recommend to family and friends.

My son Liam has been in Playtime for more than two years now and I couldn't be more happy and thankful that we made the decision to choose this nursery. Over the last 2 years, he developed a very remarkable bond with the teachers, staff and his peers. Every time I pick him up from the nursery, he would be so excited to tell me all the wonderful things he did that day with his friends and what he learned from his teachers. He is always excited to come back the next day! I have seen his confidence and character develop over time, with the help of the lovely team .
Playtime has given the children and the parents a sense of community, with the family brunches, inviting us to their celebration theme parties. we're always updated with my son's development, learning and activities with the daily journal.
I wish them all the best they are just AMAZING ❤️

Our both children been attending PLAYTIME PRE-SCHOOL NURSERY since 2017 and both was so happy there – it feels like a second home for them. All of the staff are so nurturing and supportive and they provide them with so much care, attention and positivity. I have always found the key workers to be very communicative and the manager are so efficient.
The children keep going back to visit the team to say Hello because they really miss them all ,all the fun from there.
I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a nursery in the area and I feel very lucky to have found such a wonderful and happy environment for my children.
Thank you Playtime Pre-school for the past years.

My daughter has been attending Playtime Nursery since she was 2 years old, and we couldn’t be happier. The staff are caring and professional, creating a warm and nurturing environment. The curriculum is engaging, with a perfect balance of play and learning.Everytime she bring to home amazing hand crafts, cooked things.The facilities are clean and safe, and the teachers provide personalized attention and support.I like that Nursery indoor designed as Montessori and kids can play all time what they want.Outdoor play area is great place to have a fun.My daughter has thrived socially, emotionally, and intellectually. Highly recommend Playtime Nursery to any parent!

My son attended PlayTime for the past year and a half and he loved every day there. The team is lovely and competent! Nanou (the head teacher) is always available for a chat and she really works well with parents to help children reach their full potential. The setting is bright, spacious and clean and they ochange provision daily which makes it so attractive to the children attending every day. We are excited to start reception is September but we will miss Nanou and her team so much!
