About Me
I'm currently coming out of college education and going to be taking a gap year before heading to university.
I've been studying the arts for a few years and am a very creative person. While I've never studied childcare i believe my nature and personal experiences in the care system have shaped me into a caring and understanding individual when it comes to children and their rights.
I believe my love for art and all things cute will come in handy when keeping a child entertained.I know basic first aid, and am type 1 diabetic with celiac disease so im experienced with regular medication and dietry requirements.
I'd love to give a family a helping hand since i know how valuable it is.
My Experience
I've looked after my younger sister since we were young, I'd always be happy to help out with changing her nappies and I have continued to be a person of support and I'm always trying to lead her into the right direction.
I live in a household that fosters children from the ages of 7-12 years old. I've lived with children from all different backgrounds and ethnicities and being formerly in the care system myself I have gained a lot of perspective when it comes to children and their needs. My parents take regular courses for every scenario imaginable when it comes to looking after children so I've picked up quite a bit.
My Qualifications
Unfortunately I don't have any qualifications but I do have an up to date DBS check, my family are Foster carers and I'm trusted with supervising the children in our home.
