About Me
I am a passionate Early Years Educator with a Level 3 CACHE qualification who has worked with children for over 3 years, specialising in the development of children between the ages of 3 months to 5 years. During the week I work in an intimate nursery setting so I’m well trained at maintaining children’s well-being and tracking their developmental milestones. I consider myself a caring and well-organised person who cherishes the bonds I create with little people. I pride myself in active learning I love dancing and doing yoga, I love encouraging children to explore sensorial play through a range of activities. Children should be able to explore freely so the word ‘No’ is not used during my care as I have been trained that it is an ineffective strategy for correcting behaviour, instead I focus on highlighting and rewarding good behaviour as a method of correctness.
My Experience
I have 3 years working experience in a nursery setting (for a big international company) and have a Pediatric First Aid qualification and other relevant trainings such as Promoting Positive Behaviour, Safeguarding in Children and Young People, SEND and Behavior Management Co-ordinator, Preventing and Dealing with Child Choking and more.
