Hello! My name is Tegan and I am 21 years old. I am a reliable and caring person who is passionate about providing the best care for every child.
I love to plan fun activities based on children's current interests and needs enabling their development in all areas. I have an interest in arts and crafts and enjoy finding ways to help children express their creativity.
I am dedicated to getting outdoors in any weather and exploring the nature and wildlife around us. I love all animals and am happy to help with any pets. As well as helping out around the home with any house keeping tasks. I am happy to work occasional weekends.
My Experience
I have three years of experience working in a pre-school with children aged two years to school starting age. Whilst being a preschool assistant I worked hard to look after the children in my care, ensuring a safe and happy environment enabling them to learn and develop.
Whilst completing my childcare qualification I gained experience in a range of different childcare settings where I worked hands on in placements including nurseries (in baby and toddler rooms), playgroups, a primary school and a special educational needs school. From these placements I gained skills and experience working with children of all different needs from ages 6 months all the way up to teenagers.
