About Me
I have been working as a supply teacher for 7 months in the Blackpool area where I am responsible for leading classes of 30 students as well as being aware of any welfare concerns. I also have my own 2 year old so I have plenty of experience with children, newborns and behavioural management. Furthermore, I have many years of experience with teaching children horse riding as I worked at a stables for up to 8 years.
My Experience
Cover Supervisor
Supervising classrooms of up to 40 pupils as they complete work that has been set by their regular teacher in accordance with the school policy.
• Managing the behaviour of pupils while they complete their work, ensuring the environment remains
conducive to learning.
• Managing all immediate problems or emergencies according to the school's policies and procedures
• Collecting completed work at the end of each lesson and returning it to the appropriate teacher.
• Following the school's behaviour policy, reporting on pupil's behaviour during the class.
• Completing accurate class registrations, ensuring all pupils are present and, if absent, their whereabouts are accounted for.
• Supporting the teaching staff as a Teaching Assistant when not covering a class.
