About Me
I am an Ofsted Registered Childminder living in Middlewich, I am married with 2 children aged 20 and 15yr. My last Ofsted inspection in January 2020, I was graded my 2nd 'Outstanding' in all areas to include quality of teaching and learning, children's development, behaviour and welfare. I hold Food Hygiene Rating of 5 by Cheshire East Public Protection and Health.
I offer a home from home environment, where the children are encouraged to develop as individuals, in line with Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum. We like to have fun in everything we do. Every child at my setting is made to feel special, nurtured and included to become part of our childminding family.
We are National Trust and Wildlife Trust members, which means we are often out exploring nature and our surroundings. We also visit Forest School toddler groups as we love to be outside, exploring and uncovering beastly delights! The children have the benefit of at least one weekly visit to a local wild and natural space, all year round, so that they can learn about and appreciate our natural environment. We also visit the local library for rhymetime, playgroups, parks, play barns, farms and other places of interest which support their learning. We also enjoy lots of messy play, arts, crafts and games. My aim is to ensure the children have a wide range of experiences through play, through which they can develop their learning and their personalities.
My Experience
Before qualifying as a Childminder, I was a stay at home mum for 10 years. As well as looking after my own children, I have also had the experience of looking after friends children. I have also helped out as a volunteer in a local pre-school.
I am qualified to NVQ Level 3 in Childcare.
My Qualifications
I have been a registered Childminder for over 13 years and hold a Paediatric & Early Years First Aid Certificate. I have an enhanced DBS (previously CRB). I have studied and passed my Level 3 in Childcare. Also, to expand on my existing experience, I regularly attend training courses run by Cheshire East Council to include Safeguarding of Children, Early Speech and Language Development, Supporting Communication, School Readiness and many more.

My Fees

£45.00 daily rate (includes breakfast, lunch, outings and snacks)
£15.00 after school session

I am also registered with Cheshire East Council to deliver Funded Early Education Entitlement for 15 hours or 30 hours for qualifying children aged 9 months-5 years.
