Hi hi! I’m best known as Qaya (‘Kay-Uh’). I’m a 23 year old boisterous introvert with a particular passion for education and childcare. I’m a 1:1 LSA for KS1-KS2, Private Tutor, and Nanny. My hobbies include cycling, dancing, reading, rollerskating, and writing children's books. I approach life with an optimistic and open mindset, always ready to tackle new challenges and develop holistically. My approach is very gentle in my practice so if you require someone stern I may not be the right fit.

My Experience
I have worked as a Nanny on several occasions. One of my favourite things is encouragement of children’s imaginative expressions in all different contexts such as arts & crafts, movement breaks, creative play and make-believe stories. My warmth, patience, and boundless creativity has made me noteworthy individual to the families I have assisted.
The first family I ever Nannied with was a wonderful family of 4 (6 & 3 year old sisters- the youngest with prospective ASD and her older sister having Down Syndrome). I got to see that I also enjoy positively impacting children’s lives outside of the school and private tuition settings. To be a safe-space for them and aid them in their progression as they grow over life is insurmountably rewarding.
FYI I currently only tutor children aged 5-11 with Maths and English. However, I may consider ages 12-16 (Maths and English too), dependent on certain contextual factors such as a constructive list of what topics your child or children is struggling with in these subjects.
I charge an If a family would like me to tutor their child or children then I am more than happy to negotiate on that extra service price (SATS preparation & more!).
