About Me
Hello my name is Laureen I’m 24 years old and grew up in west London. I studied health and social care level 2/3 and went on to do an access course in health and human sciences. With my qualifications I progressed to working in the health sector as well as working with children. However, no matter the profession I have always gone back to doing what I love and enjoy the most and that is working with children.
I am a fun and bubbly individual who’s enthusiastic and passionate about what they do. I thoroughly enjoy working with children in all settings whether that be in a school, club or nannying. I enjoy being able to make a positive impact on a child’s life no matter how small or big.
In regards to the role I’m looking for a full time Nannying position.
My Experience
I come from a health assistant background so I have experience working within the care sector as a healthcare assistant with elderly individuals who suffer with a range or short term- long term illness as well assisting with personal care and prompting medication which was just the very few tasks apart of my role.
I also have over 2 years SEN experience and have worked with children aged 3-18 with a range of special needs such as; autism,PMLD, ADHD, global delay and challenging behaviour just to name a few.
I have experience in PEG feeding, emptying catheters, assisting with food and drink plans level 1-7, using PECS and Makaton signing in order to communicate.
During the half terms I nanny two children under 10 and have been doing so for the last 3 years. I assist with getting the children ready for the day, meal preparation, going to sports clubs or fun days out with kids whether that’s going to the museum, zoo, park or family outing.
