About Me
Our family of 3 will welcome a new baby in August and are looking to employ a housekeeper-nanny to support us at home during this transition and beyond. This position offers a unique opportunity to work within a warm and loving family home, providing household management and some childcare support in a beautiful Richmond location by the river.
My Requirements
Hours: Monday – Friday, 6 hours daily from 7:45am – 13:45pm.
To begin August 2024 ideally.
Duties:
- Drop daughter to school (school is a 25-minute walk or 5 minutes in the car – so sometimes walking, sometimes in the car – weather dependent. 8.20am drop off time).
- Perform daily and weekly tidying and cleaning tasks around the home.
- Manage household laundry including washing, drying, and ironing.
- Prepare a simple, healthy evening meal for the family to reheat later. Batch cook on lighter cleaning days.
- Generally help to maintain an orderly home.
- Watch baby for a short while so Mum can shower/eat.
Later on, availability for occasional evening babysitting would be welcomed.
The ideal candidate will be:
- Friendly, warm and supportive with a positive outlook.
- Fluent in English.
- Experienced in taking care of young children.
- Punctual, organised, tidy and able to work independently and maintain a clean
environment.
- Competent in the kitchen with the ability to prepare simple, fresh and healthy family
meals. Batch cooking a bonus.
- A licenced car driver (to drop 10 yr-old daughter to school in the mornings).
- Have DBS check and references.
