My name is Carolina, I'm a 24 year old Reproductive Science Practitioner who works at a fertility clinic. I've always been passionate about making families!
Before I started my journey as a scientist, I was happy working with children, namely looking after them, doing fun and educational activities with them and help them step into the world in best possible way.
The reason why I want to babysit again is because I recently moved to London and I want to save some money to secure a better future in this city.

My Experience
As the oldest of three daughters, I had the responsibility while growing up of looking after and taking care of my sisters and set a good example for them. Therefore, they were my first experience with childcare. Following that, I had different opportunities to babysit children from family friends, which solidified my experience as a babysitter (prepare meals, help getting ready to school, perform fun activities, collect from school, go to the park, help with school work and prepare for bed).
In secondary school, I was a Sunday school teacher assistant, where I helped looking after children between the ages of 6-9.
When I joined University I wanted to get a part time job that involved working with kids, as I feel more comfortable and confident in this type of role. I became a nursery assistant and also an after-school club presenter, which not only increased my experience with children of different age groups but also allowed me to do fun and challenging educational activities and use creativity and imagination, which I find really important and enjoyable.
My Qualifications
I have over 6 years of experience of babysitting.
I have 3 years of experience as a Sunday School teacher assistant.
I have 1 year experience as a nursery assistant.
I have 1 year experience as an after-school STEMkids club presenter.
I have a bachelor degree in Biomedical Sciences.
I have a masters degree in Assisted Reproductive Technology.
I speak 5 different languages: English, Portuguese, Spanish, French and Italian.
My Availability
As I start my work at the laboratory at 08:15am, I am available to take kids to school before that time. I am available from 04:00pm Monday to Friday and free at weekends.
