My Experience
I have over two years of experience caring for children privately which has involved: after-school pick-up; cooking evening meals; supervised dinnertime, bathtime, playtime, organised activities, bedtime and tidy-up. I encourage good manners, avoid shouting/emotional reactions, encourage happiness and playtime, and aim to bring learning to everyday situations. Discipline is important and I will not avoid the word "No", but a level of respect and trust is built on the foundations of care and kindness.
