Hi there! My name is Shona, and I am a responsible, kind, and friendly individual currently home for the summer from university and seeking part-time babysitting work to help families in our community. My Experience
Although I have not had any formal babysitting experience, I have two younger siblings whom I have looked after regularly. Additionally, I have volunteered in Sri Lanka, teaching English to young children from underprivileged communities, and volunteering in an orphanage, playing with and looking after children with physical and mental disabilities. I am a current student at Cardiff university, going into my final year of my Psychology degree. My previous work experience includes working as an honorary assistant psychologist for individuals with acquired brain injuries, an autism support worker, and volunteering as an activity coordinator on an NHS mental health ward. These roles in the psychological field have made me very compassionate and understanding, equipping me with the skills to handle different situations with sensitivity and care.
My Qualifications
I have all my 9 GCSE's between the grades of 5-8 including maths and english. I have 3 A*'s in my A levels in psychology, criminology and law. I am going into my third year of my BSc psychology degree, having already completed a module in developmental psychology. I have a full advanced DBS check.
