Hi there! My name is Laure-Elise and I hope to give you, your child and family some respite and excellent care when needed.
A bit about myself and my interests :
Baking and Cooking, My main interest is spending quality time with friends and family so I’m always cooking meals and baking cakes for everyone to get together and enjoy. I love cooking hearty roast dinners but also enjoy dipping into other cultures and constantly experimenting with different spices, meats and produce.
Technology and Computers, Since I was young I’ve always loved playing video games and connecting with friends through the internet. From these experiences I am tech-savvy when using computers and other new and old technology.
Patience and Care, Approaching misunderstanding and disagreements I utilise my skills of empathy and compassion. The empathy I have and continue to learn about is through my close bond with my grandparents, with my Grandma being diagnosed with dementia, I spent a lot of time looking after her when I could. She has since passed and is missed dearly.
Although I would describe myself as independent, at the end of the day my core values are caring for family and those around me. I'm always high energy and looking to put a smile on everyone's faces day to day.
My Experience
I don't have much experience working with children, it being limited to helping reception children settle into their first weeks of primary school when I was in the last year of primary school. Nevertheless I have much experience with care and helping those around me, I cook, clean and shop for my grandparents whenever I can. As previously mentioned, I looked after my late Grandma for a couple years before she we were able to find a home for her. This role required patience, responsibility and the ability to navigate and overcome unexpected challenges that came my way.
To those looking for home school help and support, I myself was homeschooled (or self educated), I learnt completely on my own and achieved GCSE Maths (Grade 7) and GCSE English Language (Grade 9). I understand it can be difficult for parents to navigate how to exactly homeschool children best, I can provide many free resources and ways I was able to navigate self education.

No qualifications pertaining to childcare. GCSE Maths (Grade 7) and English (Grade 9).
My Availability
My availability is very flexible to suit you and your families personal needs and lifestyle. I will be taking an Access to HE course when I turn 19 so until then wanting to work full time, gaining experience working with children to broaden my world view and understanding but also childcare is something I'm considering studying and therefore am very passionate in providing adequate care for children and families.
