About Me

I use my many years of experience as a teacher and SENCo to help children to close gaps in their learning and build on their strengths. I tutor KS1 & 2 in core subjects but can also support with Functional Skills English and Maths. I work 1:1 and in small groups. I also offer 11+ tuition in preparation.

My Experience

I’m a qualified teacher and SENCO. I have worked in education for 15 years in mainstream, special needs schools and alternative provisions. Although I specialise in KS1/2, I also have experience in teaching functional skills up to level 2. I have tutored on and off throughout this time. I am currently working as an SEN specialist in a tuition company that provides education for children with complex needs who are currently not in school.

My Qualifications

I have a teaching qualification (QTS)
National Award Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. (Masters level)
Mental Health First Aider
