About Me
Hi there, my name is Lihui and I’m a Malaysian Chinese, female, age 31 who speaks fluent English, Mandarin (a little Cantonese and Hokkien), Malay, and basic French. I am a well organised person who loves trying out new recipes, photography and creative work during my free time. I’m fairly new to London but I’m super adventurous and love to explore. I’m currently in the midst of job hunting and would like to use my free time to care children in household who needs help.
My Experience
I had some volunteering experience as a teacher in a school for children/adults with learning disabilities for 1.5months around 13 years ago. Around the same period I’ve also been a replacement school teacher for kindergarten class for one week during my semester break, teaching Mandarin and mathematics to 4 year olds. My major is in hospitality management and I’ve worked in luxurious cruise liners as a guest service executive. During my internship in a five star hotel I had a fond memory of babysitting a pair of siblings age 6 & 3. Most of my recent experience with kids are with my nephews and nieces of kindergarten age.
My Qualifications
BSc Hospitality and Tourism Management. I do not have formal qualification or certification in childcare but I have volunteering experience as well as some work experience dealing with kids of above 3 years old.
My Availability
I’m available on most weekdays (mon-Fri, except Wednesday noon from 11am-3pm) and sometimes during the weekend (but we can liase on that in case I have something scheduled).
