Hello Parents!
I am Katya and I am in my 30s.
I provide part time and ad hoc baby sitting services around Palmers Green, possibly going as far as Southgate and Winchmore Hill areas (depending on the exact location).
I really enjoy being around children and find it incredibly rewarding and fun to support their growth and development. I am caring, patient and fun to be around. I can be firm when needed, and always very “hot” on safety and hygiene.
In my spear time I enjoy yoga, playing scrabble with my husband, and walking my dog. I try my very best to practise health living - I don’t smoke or eat junk food, but I do have an addiction to cake ( it’s a bit of a problem really).
My Experience
I am experienced with looking after children between the ages of 4 and 12. Typically up to 2 children at a time. This would typically include:
Heating up and serving meals
Playing games and fun activities
Teaching life skills
Going for a walk - sometimes we take my dog with us (if acceptable).
Helping with homework
Picking up from school (walk, bus or taxi) - please note I do not drive.
Clearing up any mess we have created together.
Bath time
I have also provided coaching to newly single parents on how to juggle family live and establish a better routine.

My Qualifications
My education consists of a masters degree and a professional chartership in an unrelated field - architecture and urban planning.
I have previously completed the following courses:
“First aid at work” with the British Red Cross
“Mental health first aider” with MHFA England.
DBS check can be provided on request.
Please note that I do not currently hold any professional child-care qualifications.
My Availability
At the moment baby sitting is a side-hustle for me. As such, my availability is variable. Please get in touch to discuss your specific dates and times.
