Part-Time Nanny in Maida Vale – With Newborn Experience (Full-Time Jan–Mar)

We are a warm, professional family based in Maida Vale (W9) looking for a highly organised and experienced nanny to support our two children:
• Our 3.5-year-old daughter attends school in Hampstead, just a direct 15-minute bus ride away. The role includes school pick-up at 15:30, planning age-appropriate activities (ideally outdoors), organising playdates, and returning home by 17:30.
• From 17:30 to around 19:30, you’ll support with our 6-week-old baby boy while mum handles the toddler’s bedtime. During this time, we’d like you to also:
• Keep things tidy and reset for the next day (e.g. clean the table, wash up after the toddler’s dinner, ensure kitchen and play areas are tidy)

We are also looking for ad hoc daytime help with the baby during the week by mutual agreement. From January to March 2026, we will require full-time care for the baby (approx. 40–45 hours/week), after which he will begin nursery and the role will revert to part-time.

Key Details:
• Hours: ~20–25 hours/week on average (with occasional additional hours during holidays or sick days)
• Full-time period: January–March 2026 (for baby only)
• Start: Flexible, ideally September 2025
• Location: Maida Vale (W9)

We’re looking for someone who:
• Has strong experience with both toddlers and newborns
• Is exceptionally organised, proactive, and takes initiative (laundry, bags, shopping, breakfast prep, etc.)
• Has excellent communication skills and is open to feedback
• Is confident coordinating playdates and creating a calm, engaging routine
• Maintains a clean and orderly environment at the end of each shift
