About Me
I offer babysitting, nanny and tutoring/home school help services. I am very familiar with the development matters framework along with activities and learning opportunities to help achieve those milestones. I will base activities around the interests of your child. I take pride in helping children to learn and grown, with my main priority being to make sure each child I look after feels happy and confident.
I also have a good knowledge of the GCSE maths curriculum, as well as experience teaching primary school maths.
Additionally, I can speak fluent French and I am learning Spanish as well.
My Experience
I have over 3 years experience working in a nursery setting with children aged 6 months to 5 years. During this time I was responsible for 14 key children and would plan activities to aid with their development each week, along with doing meetings with parents and completing weekly observations.
I also have over a years experience maths tutoring with both high school and primary school aged children. I am working part time with a year 10 pupil who has dyslexia, supporting him with his GCSE maths course. Since I began working with him he has moved up 2 classes and has gone from studying foundation maths, to higher maths.
I have experience as a temporary nanny caring for two children, both with dietary requirements. I would supervise meals, help get them dressed, keep their toys tidy, set up activities for them at home and take them out to different activities such as the park, cafes, soft play and the farm.
