About Us
Rainbow Smiles is a private day nursery located in West Dulwich.
The nursery is open 51 weeks a year (only closed for 1 week during the Christmas period) from 7:30-18: 30 pm.
The nursery is quite close to West Dulwich train station which allows parents to leave the car outside the nursery and then catch a train to work if needed.
Rainbow Smiles' ethos is 'where only the best will do' and appreciate that choosing a suitable nursery for children is one of the most important decisions any parent will have to make, as the 'early years' of any child's life are the most important for the child's long term development.
Rainbow Smiles is currently the only setting as the owners prefer to focus improving childcare in the one setting before expanding. The nurseries philosophy is firmly based on quality and the amount of time the practitioners spend interacting with the children as well as developing an innovative solution to reduce the administrative burden.
The nursery also promotes a strong partnership with parents, in order to ensure that staff can provide the highest quality of care.
The nursery hosts three big social events a year and also coffee mornings every so often where the parents can give any feedback/suggestions to the management team.
Rainbow Smiles believes that the food the children eat affects every aspect of mood, behaviour, growth and even an ability to concentrate. Good nutrition is vital to a child’s health from building strong bones and teeth to the healthy development of internal organs and general growth.
Rainbow Smiles approach is to ensure a balanced diet for children and all meals cooked daily using fresh ingredients.
