I'm a caring and patient babysitter with over 20 years of experience caring for children of all ages, including those with extra needs such as ADHD, autism, asthma, deafness, developmental delays, diabetes, language disorders, food allergies, physical limitations, and visual impairments. I'm comfortable assisting with homework, pets, and a range of activities like drawing, reading, crafting, and music. My Experience
Besides having my own children, I was a registered childminder for over 20 years. I gave up my registration in 2021 when I had my youngest child as it was not viable to work as Ofsted regarded my own two small children as part of my childcare ratios meaning I could only look after 1 child for work.
I miss providing childcare for others and thought I might advertise myself to provide babysitting services or emergency childcare for parents in need.
I have attended many courses in my years, some include Full paediatric First Aid training, Level 4 Safeguarding, Makaton and many many more. I have looked after many children with various needs. I have experience with Autism, speech & Language delays, hearing issues, challenging behaviour, food allergies just to name a few.
My Qualifications
Advanced First Aid Training (up to date)
Level 4 safeguarding
Level 3 Food Hygiene
I have done so many courses I couldn't possibly name them all.
I basically did a course everytime I encountered a need for it, so if I looked after a child who was non verbal/ hearing issues I would learn makaton to help support them etc.
My Availability
I can be flexible.
I have listed myself for evenings, but I can provide daytime childcare or maybe even overnight. If you let me know what you need then I can let you know if I can help.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
I have an hourly rate plus I will add on a 45p per mile fee for travel to and from your home.
