About Me
I share my home with my husband and daughter who is 1 years old and my two cats Arlo and Loki.
I am an approachable and friendly individual who enjoys putting my time in to help others and I have a passion for outdoors and being creative.
I grew up in a busy household being one of four and with the responsibilities of looking after my little one I understand what is involved in caring for children, which I feel supports my interest in becoming a childminder and having the skills and experience to do this.
I am fully registered with the care inspectorate and have a membership with the Scottish Childminding Association (SCMA), offering on-going learning and development.
I have spaces available, including before and after nursery/school care. I live a short distance away from Victoria Primary school.
I am considering covering other areas depending on level of interest.
My Experience
I have experience working as a support worker in learning disabilities and care of the elderly.
I am a qualified childcare practitioner with a HNC in Childhood Practice obtained at Forth Valley College.
I have experience working as a nursery nurse, residential childcare worker and an outdoor practitioner, which has gained experience in supporting ASN, trauma-based practice, as well as first aid and food hygiene.
Further to this I have undertaken Forest School training at West Lothian College so hopefully this will support many adventures and activities!

My current working hours are 07:30-1730 Mon-Fri (I can begin earlier upon request ) where I can offer half/full day placement and before/after school care Mon-Fri.
