About Me
I am an approachable and friendly individual who enjoys putting my time in to help others and I have a passion for outdoors and love being creative especially through my interest for Floristry.
I have a little girl who is 1, she is very cheery and sociable and having other children in her company will be of great benefit to her. I also have two cats called Arlo and Loki.
I am fully registered with the care inspectorate and working towards becoming a funded provider with Falkirk Council and I have a membership with the Scottish Childminding Association (SCMA) offering on-going learning and development.
My childminding service is called “Ivy’s Sprouts”
I have spaces available, 1 pre-school place and 2 before and after nursery/school care from Victoria Primary School.
I am considering providing school care from Bainsford Primary depending on level of interest.
My Experience
I have experience working as a support worker in learning disabilities and care of the elderly.
I am a qualified childcare practitioner with a HNC in Childhood Practice obtained at Forth Valley College.
I have experience working as a nursery nurse, residential childcare worker and an outdoor practitioner, which has gained experience in supporting ASN, trauma-based practice, as well as first aid and food hygiene.
Further to this I have undertaken Forest School training at West Lothian College so hopefully this will support many adventures and activities!
