About Me
I am a caring and happy mum of 2 lovely, energetic, and enthusiastic boys. I love plants and animals, and I enjoy being around children. I plan in advance the activities for the day so there is a wide range of things to do.
I speak 3 fluently 3 languages: English, Spanish and Russian. I will be more than happy to teach a language to your child, too.
I absolutely like being with kids, and being able to play with them and learn through play is something I really enjoy. Being a mum of 2 boys had made realise that I had to change a bit of my career from dental nursing to working with children. To become a childminder was the best job I could actually choose. I get to be with my kids, at the same time work from home by looking after other children and having fun withdiferent daily activities.
My Experience
Sometime ago, I did some volunteer work for 6 month as a teaching assistant at a primary school where I had to help children with their reading and give them guidance and help. This really helped me in building up my confidence in reading with different children and learning new things about each of them.
When I was in Sixth Form, I also used to look after a 2-year-old girl on the weekends (evenings) for over a period of 1 year. Duties included were doing dinner, bathing, and putting on her pyjamas, feeding, and reading a bedtime story. In a very short time, we had a lovely relationship between me and the little girl. She started to enjoy so much being with me that I started to look after her when I was in half term, too.
My Qualifications
I started to study in London from Yr 9. It was a very big challenge for me as I only had 1 year to prepare for my GCSE exams and also to learn the English language.
I have done my GCSEs, and I have passed.
Then, I went to a sixth form and studied Spanish A Level and Media Studies. I received a distinction for both subjects.
