About Me

I’m due my first baby in September and plan to have 6 months maternity before returning back to work on a phased return (part time intially). With both myself & my husband working full time (Him as a Farmer & myself as an Agricultural Projects Manager) and though I work from home I am looking for a reliable, knowledgeable and friendly childminder or Day Nursery setting. Initially I envisage this being 1-2 days per week however anticipate this may grow to 3-4 days per week depending on my work demands.

I am keen to find the right person/setting & would prefer someone who is available from 6 months until school age to allow for consistency across both our schedules but also for my child to have stability. I am brand new to this & open to being flexible and would welcome any conversation to say hello and have a chat.

Some background on my family, it’s myself (33) & my husband (30). We live in a detached property and have a total of 9 dogs consisting of 7 working & 3 retired working sheepdogs, a springer spaniel and a Jack Russell terrier that are all kennelled outside. We also have 4 cats who have access to both outside and inside the home along with 5 geese and an unknown number of chickens & ducks. We are a rural couple, have been married for 8 years since 2016 and together for 11 since 2013. Our baby was an incredibly happy surprise after being told almost 7 years ago by fertility specialists that it wouldn’t happen for us naturally. We are incredibly thankful & cannot wait for our child to join us in September 2024.
