Hi
I’m Abigail, I am 18 years old. Ever since I was little I loved dolls and playing “teachers”. Since I started in working in nursery’s and babysitting. I have absolutely loved it. I enjoy seeing how the children grow and develop the older, more their own personalities grow. As an early years educator i tend to focus the tasks or activity’s I do with the children towards their development but with their likes and dislikes in mind. I have just finished my level 3 in education and childcare and will hopefully be starting university in September at leeds trinity doing early years studies.
My Experience
In the level 3 course at college we had to attend local nursery’s and schools to complete 750 hours of placement whilst being observed doing activities for the children to get involved with. This means that I have created activities and been involved with children ages 12 months to 5 years old. Giving me a broad range of knowledge on their different levels of learning. Throughout my 2 years at college. Between 2020-2024. From 2019-2024 I also attended a girlguiding group called rainbows with children ages 3-7 years old for an hour a week. I was a young leader whilst I was volunteering there. We did very creative activities as that’s what the children chose to do aswell as some things like; pretend sleepovers in tents, teddy picnics, sports games and so on. The level of eperience I gained in both my college course and rainbows has helped me to become the early years educator I am today, I’m thankful for the knowledge I gained. Which I am able to put towards helping your child have a fun afternoon or day with me.
My Qualifications
2020-2024- I did a t level in childcare and education level 3 (results in august 24)
Starting- September 24 I will hopefully get into an early childhood studies ba at leeds trinity university.
