About Me
I am kind and caring with a passion for working with children and young people. I ensure that I keep abreast of research relating to education/ pedagogy. I believe that building trusting and empathic working relationships with students is key to aid them in their learning. I do my best to ensure that my lessons are engaging, and I ask students what they enjoy or like, so that I can then, where possible incorporate that into my lessons.
My Experience
I have six months experience working as a Private Tutor, tutoring English. I have experience of working with both Primary and Secondary students. I have worked with SEN Students, as well as working as a Teaching Assistant and a Youth Worker. I have experience within the Voluntary Sector, I spent two years volunteering with Samaritans.
My Qualifications
I have Counselling Studies Degree, as well as a Level 3 childcare Qualification. I have 9 GCSEs, A-C and 3 A Levels B-C. I have up to date Safeguarding and Prevent training. I have many CPD certificates these can be shown upon request.
