My Summary

My Experience

I have really enjoyed working with children over the course of two years. I have private tuition experience at Explore Learning, tutoring children ages 4-16 alongside the national curriculum. At the center, we helped children to gain confidence in learning by tailoring tutoring approaches to them. As a result, I have helped children with 11+ entrance exams and GCSE revision/exam preparation. This job also entailed the privilege of tutoring children with SEN, where I learned how to deliver information and care in different ways, catering to specific needs. I enjoyed the responsibility of being an open and friendly role model, encouraging children to be open, because tutoring involved safeguarding and welfare too. I built great relationships with the children and their parents, and was sad to leave the job in June 2024. I also have experience as a Course Assistant at Select English’s summer language schools, which involved first aid and student welfare responsibilities. I have planned multiple activities for the children, and love to get involved. For example, I am incredibly sporty, so enjoyed coaching rounders, netball, football and basketball games, I love art so I enjoyed taking part in the sketching, painting and collage activities, and I love music, so I enjoy listening and teaching basic piano skills. All of this experience will be beneficial as a babysitter because I know how to keep children engaged, and they will never feel bored!

• Babysitting from £13.00 per hour
