Hello! I'm Julia, an incoming exchange student at UCL, eager to embark on a part-time, live-in nanny/au pair role from this September until May next year. My Experience
With over four years of experience in tutoring and childcare, I've had the pleasure of working with children aged 3 to 17, including those with special needs. This diverse experience has allowed me to develop a deep understanding of children's educational and emotional needs.
From September 2019 onwards, I led over 60 high school volunteers to host hands-on STEM workshops for more than 175 underserved elementary schools. This role involved networking with teachers and parents nationwide and building strong community connections to deliver exciting, educational extra-curricular content to hundreds of children. I also cultivated partnerships with organizations such as the YMCA, which promotes youth development and healthy living.
At Mathnasium in California, I was promoted to Assistant Center Director after less than two years of working as a Math Instructor. I was personally requested by numerous parents and students for my effective and compassionate teaching methods. Despite working with dozens of students each day, I maintained a perfect high school GPA, demonstrating my dedication and ability to balance responsibilities.
I have also held a driver’s license for 2.5 years. My commitment to creating a nurturing, engaging, and safe environment for children makes me an ideal candidate for a live-in nanny role.
My Qualifications
Tutoring math and languages (Russian/French) for 4+ years. Driver's license.
My Availability
I will be taking only 2 or 3 courses this term, so my schedule is quite flexible. I am fully free on weekends and will be available at least 2-3 full week days, as well as every single night (due to the live-in nature of the position).
