Hi! Welcome to my home away from home setting :)
My name is Sara and I am an Ofsted registered childminder. I am 31 years old and have a 3 year old son. I have a very friendly 4 year old cat, her name is Lola.
My ideal day is spent outside, in nature, learning more from the environment surrounding us, however, we also have lots of fun at home - we are a very bubbly family, so singing and dancing are part of our days!
We enjoy lots of sensory play, so even when the weather is not at its best, we still make the most of it outdoors or indoors!
I live close to Epsom train station, bus stops, the local library, softplays, and parks. I also know other childminders in the area, so the children can interact with different groups. Everything is within short walking distance from the setting.
I can also speak Portuguese and Spanish fluently.
I have a few spaces available in my setting for all ages.
My Experience
I have worked in care for the last 10 years, dedicated entirely to childcare for about 7 years now. This includes experience with newborns.
I love studying, so I often look for new books and courses to make sure I can provide the best care possible! For instance, the Children's Psychology course is something that I'd love to study in the near future.

- Home-based Childcare Qualification (HBCA) - CACHE-accredited and Ofsted-recognised Level 3 award

My Availability
My availability will be Monday to Friday, from 7.30am to 6pm. This is flexible and we can discuss something more suitable for your family's needs.

Sara looked after our 3 year old pre-schooler during the summer holidays. She was warm and friendly from the start and our little boy was very happy in her care. Sara is communicative and flexible, adapting activities to suit the child and sending updates. She also supported him with his speech & language development. Definitely recommend!
