About Me
I am an semi- retired former head of department of a prestigious independent school who is passionate about both chemistry education at GCSE and A levels. During the last 30 or so years I have developed extremely effective methods to communicate my subject to my students. Having also been an examiner for all the major examination boards I also have an extensive knowledge of the details of each curriculum and moreover how to ensure examination answers fulfil the requirements of the marks scheme so obtain the maximum marks. Over 20 years teaching at a local prestigious independent school where I was Head of Department. I am also an assistant exam marker for AQA, Edexcel and OCR.
