About Me

Hi, I'm Maria. I am a British 30yr old childcare professional. I love to travel and after completing a Level 2 Apprenticeship in a pre school setting, I went on a travelled through Europe, USA and Australia working in seasonal childcare roles. I have worked with children from ages 4 months to 17 years in various backgrounds such as nannying in a ski resort, kids club assistant manger on a cruise ship and a camp counsellor in the US.
Most recently, I worked in Australia as an Au Pair for three children, G7,G8,B15 for 6 months. This was a very unusual time as I joined the family a month before Covid 19 hit and we really teamed up to help the kids home school and keep them entertained with no recreational facilities available.
I have just returned home from working in a chalet in Greece and secured a full time role back in the UK. I would love to do some babysitting for weekend evenings for a bit of extra cash.
I just renewed my DBS and have my Paediatric First Aid Certificate.
