About Me
I am an Early Years Practitioner with 6 years’ experience working with children between 0-4 years old, I currently work at a private day nursery in the preschool room but have worked in the baby and toddler room as well. I love supporting children to develop and achieve their milestones. I enjoy providing age and stage appropriate activities to support children’s learning and development. I am a hardworking, reliable and honest individual who is confident in working individually and as part of a team. Excellent time management skills, highly reliable and organised person. I thrive on building positive relationships with children and their families ensuring their needs are met and establishing a continuous foundation of trust.
My Experience
Outside of school and work I volunteered at children clubs which highlighted my passion to work with children. I studied childcare in sixth form gaining my Level 3 and securing a job at my placement nursery before moving on to a different nursery to gain more experience within the industry. I am now looking at becoming a nanny where I can focus on the children’s needs and development in an individual way and work closely with a family to provide the best care, education and support. I have experience with working with children with complex special and additional needs.
My Qualifications
I have a Level 3 Childcare qualification and hold an up to date DBS.
I am Paediatric First Aid trained and have experience with looking after a child with Epilepsy and special educational needs.
I have completed many noodle now courses at my nursery such as safeguarding level 2 and food hygiene level 2.
My Availability
I am available 5 days a week from morning to evening.
