About Me
Hi! I’m Taliyah-Grace, I am 18 years old and live in the Polsloe area, however I can travel anywhere within or nearby to Exeter with ease. I am only able to provide childcare at your place of residence currently, due to awaiting my care certificate.
I am always happy to help out with house work (especially overnight) & simply to entertain the little ones while you are home also! Children are generally very giggly & excitable around me, likely due to my age which is quite helpful I find, especially with children who have disabilities impacting behavior or just those whom just need a little bit more time/attention!
I am confident with newborns, little ones just finding their feet & administering medication if necessary, though it is essential the latter is fully discussed prior to meeting your family.
My Experience
I have 2 years of care experience as I joined the field as soon as I turned working age. I have previously worked in a fast paced residential environment, with SENSE International, caring for individuals with complex disabilities and/or people who are deafblind. This included but was not limited to personal intimate care, acting as a sighted guide, non-verbal communication for individuals with learning disabilities, administration of medication, use of specialist mobility aids, observations during meal times & bath times, as well as lone working during day trips.

My Availability
I am available Monday-Friday from 4:30pm and I have full availability on all evenings & nights throughout the week.
I have low availability for nights on weekends usually, due to the demand of the service, so asking ahead of time guarantees that I can provide childcare overnight.
